| Tipo | Estructura | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| Afirmativo | Sujeto + am/is/are + Verbo-ING | "She is reading a book." |
| Negativo | Sujeto + am/is/are + not + Verbo-ING | "They are not (aren't) working." |
| Interrogativo | Am/Is/Are + Sujeto + Verbo-ING? | "Are you listening to music?" |
2. Comparativos y Superlativos
• Comparativo (+er + than): "Fast → Faster than" (A car is faster than a bike).
• Superlativo (the + -est): "Tall → The tallest" (He is the tallest boy in class).
• Comparativo (more + adjetivo + than): "Expensive → More expensive than".
• Superlativo (the most + adjetivo): "Beautiful → The most beautiful".
• Good → Better than → The best
• Bad → Worse than → The worst
3. Sustantivos Contables e Incontables
|---|---|---|
| Contables (Countable) | Tienen forma singular y plural. Se pueden contar con números. | One apple, two apples, three cars. |
| Water, money, rice, information, coffee. |
4. Cuantificadores: Much, Many, Some, Any
Ejemplo: "I have some friends." / "There is some milk in the fridge."
Ejemplo: "I don't have any money." / "Do you have any questions?"
Ejemplo: "There aren't many books here."
Ejemplo: "How much water do you drink?"
• But (Pero): "I want to go, but I am tired."
• Because (Porque): "He is happy because he passed the test."
• So (Así que / Por lo tanto): "It was raining, so I took an umbrella."
